Down East Peak (11,161)

Down East Peak 11161' is located on the main crest of the Boulder
Mountains and is the northernmost peak on the Easley Hot Springs quad. A good way to approach this mountain is from Boulder Basin. Gain the Boulder crest here, then drop down 1000' into the East Fork Salmon drainage. Skirt 11087' Window Peak before regaining the crest farther north.
