According to the current 1990 register placed by Barbara Lilley and Gordon MacLeod, Big Peak visitors are either committed hikers or helicopter crews here to maintain the repeater signal. Kudos to Galena, Dana Lopez's dog who summited in 1992. Also of interest is the 60 year old peanut butter tin- minus its register. Who were these early visitors? Even today, only one or two parties per year make it up here.
